Hey everyone, hope you're doing well.
Just recently, a friend and artist that I really respect just got ripped off by a DA member here and didn't pay for the commission. Come to find out, my friend is not the only one that got ripped of by this guy.... here's what my friend wrote in his recent journal....

Man, I am pissed!
commissioned me to draw 2 pics of his OC named "Dash" which I just posted today. I tried to contact this person but I noticed his DA account was deactivated. I tried his msn which we used to communicate but as soon as he signed on he signed off. It all seemed weird to me but I didn't want to immediately assume he was avoiding me. I was looking around DA until I saw a pic of "Dash" restraining DC Comics's Black Adam which I thought was interesting because that was exactly what told me to draw. I checked the picture and noticed in the comments the artist of the piece was irate about not getting paid for the 2 pieces he had done involving "Dash". Immediately alarms started flashing but I had to be sure I wasn't jumping to conclusions since the DA id name was 
. Sure he could've changed names but I had to be sure. I contacted the artist and found out also went by 
. What really got me was that this guy's msn was exactly the same as the msn gave me. They were all the same guy. I got played. Plain and simple. Kind of like a dine and dash of sorts. I am so angry right now. I should've been more careful but what's done is done. I had to push things off because of this jerk. I should probably take the pics I did down but I really worked hard on them. I don't know if I'm allowed to post the guy's msn publicly with this journal but I'll find out if I can soon. I wonder how many other people he's done this to? Everyone, please watch out for guys like this.

And that's that... He now knows to accept payment upfront first before starting artwork...
So all in all, I wanted to let you all know to be on the lookout and watch out for pieces of shit like this.
